Older adults have been waiting anxiously for nearly a year to return to a sense of normalcy. Now that the vaccine is available to those over 65, people can soon be united with their loved ones.
There are a number of questions and myths surround the COVID-19 vaccine, however. The Illinois Department of Aging answers most of those questions on its website, found here.

Up to 750 North Chicago residents will be able to get vaccinated each week at a clinic opening at the Greenbelt Community Center next week. I am encouraging anyone eligible for the vaccine to register for an appointment.
The vaccine clinic, located at the Greenbelt Community Center, opened Feb. 15. Its hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Those who need assistance getting to the clinic can contact Pace’s Dial-A-Ride service at 1-800-201-6446.
